Here at book exchange headquarters we are committed to doing everything we can to create a sustainable and passionate book-lovers community, one where everyone can benefit and share the joys of reading a good book.

As such, we are thrilled and delighted to announce that we have teamed up with the
Dyslexia Research Trust
and will be donating 20p to them for every book traded-in through our recycled-readers book exchange scheme

The trust aims to understand the basic causes of reading difficulties, to improve treatment of the condition in the UK and to raise awareness of the great amount that can be done to help.  With their specialist clinics, they are able to offer people with learning difficulties a way forward.  Assessments reassure parents and their children and provide practical ways to help them achieve their full potential.  Since reading difficulties are often paired with exceptional talents in other areas, they also investigate and research the positive aspects of dyslexia.  As an entirely self-funded charity, they need your help to continue their good work to actively help all the children and young people they see in their clinics without charge, and to affect government policy so that changes will be made to improve reading in schools.

By simply trading your pre-loved, second-hand and used books in with us, not only will you receive £1 credit to use on any future book purchase on this site but we will give 20p to the Trust – easy, simple and quick!

We will champion the work of the Trust as much as possible but to make a real difference please support us by becoming a recycled-reader.  Together we can help ensure that younger generations have the access, confidence and strategies in place to read for pleasure.

Help us spread the word!
