Fat Charlie Nancy is not actually fat. He was fat once but he is definitely not fat now. Anansi boys is a weird and wonderful tale of one man's discovery that not only might there be more to mythology than he thought but that there might be more to himself to. Neil Gaiman is a master at creating worlds within worlds while never losing hold of his narrative, and his characters are some of the funniest, strangest, and most brilliantly realised I've ever encountered.
