I loved this book growing up and have now read it to my daughter who loves it even more I think. A lot happens in each chapter but they are short chapter which makes it a good bedtime read for little ones. If you don't know the story the children go up the Faraway Tree and can go into other places or worlds where wierd stuff happens to them. They make friends with the creatures who live in the tree and eat crazy food like pop cakes and go down the slippery slip. It's all very exciting! I like the front cover of this one too it looks magical and far away. (Posted on 11/04/2012)
